The Ultimate Screenplay Analysis "Anywhere"

"Designed to put your story through its paces" Can your script really afford to be without it? (Unavailable anywhere else)

When it comes down to it, no amount of topnotch presentation can hide a weak story. The buildup can actually heighten the disappointment.

What this Story Design Breakdown will do is actually look at each individual aspect of good story telling and isolate their strong and weak points within your script (and if some aren't there, then why not?).

A story is constructed from building blocks (elements). They are the conceptual framework, the foundation of your story. If one or two are missing, the whole foundation will crumble. This is a major cause of writer's block - trying to create a story without the proper planning.

In constructing a story, actions are what characters do, events are what happen to characters. Therefore, the story consists of the series of actions performed by the characters, while the plot consists of the series of events that happen to the characters. Your subplot will be analyzed to check that it runs parallel to the main plot. The Plot Arena will be isolated and the Character Values will be aligned with your primary objectives.

What you will receive is a complete summary on each of the principle elements.

We will look at how they have been executed and recommend a direct line of action on how you can improve them within your story.
